London's Smartest Way to
Clear Waste

EcoHaul is a London based digital marketplace that connects households and businesses with verified, insured waste carrier drivers for efficient and compliant waste collection. Drivers and driver helpers can also join to earn on their own schedule.

Our AI powered system analyses your job details, location and current market rates to give an instant, fair estimate. You can also receive competing quotes from multiple verified drivers and choose the best option for your needs.

EcoHaul adds a small platform fee to every job to cover payment processing, insurance verification and support. It is already included in the price you are shown, so there is nothing extra to pay at checkout.

Yes. Every driver on EcoHaul is a licensed waste carrier with valid insurance. We verify driving licences, vehicle MOTs, insurance certificates, waste carrier licences and Manual Handling Training before any driver is approved.

At launch EcoHaul collects cardboard. Additional ordinary recyclable materials such as wood, metal, plastic and glass will be introduced gradually as the verified recycling centre network grows.

EcoHaul does not carry hazardous waste, asbestos, chemicals, paint, solvents, clinical waste, batteries, pressurised containers or liquids. If you have these, please contact an appropriately authorised specialist. If a driver or helper unexpectedly discovers suspected hazardous material, they will stop, make the site safe and report it.

No. Liquids, including alcohol, are not accepted on the platform because they require specialist handling and licensing. Please use a licensed hazardous or liquid waste specialist for any liquid waste.

Most collections can be scheduled within 24 to 48 hours. Many drivers also offer same day service for urgent removals, and you can choose your preferred time slot when booking.

An ASAP collection is a prioritised same day request for urgent removals. It carries a flat fee set by the platform and an incentive for the driver, and is subject to availability and a daily limit.

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe integration. Payment is only taken after your job is completed to your satisfaction.

When you accept a quote your card is authorised for the amount, but the payment is only captured after the driver completes the job and you confirm you are happy with the work.

Yes. If you are not satisfied you can raise a dispute from the job page. Our team reviews every dispute fairly and refunds are issued for valid claims. Proposed refunds are recorded separately from any executed payment movement.

You need a valid waste carrier licence, an appropriate vehicle, insurance, a driving licence and a valid MOT. Complete the onboarding process with document verification and you can start earning once approved, usually within 48 hours.

A driving licence, vehicle MOT, insurance certificate, waste carrier licence and EcoHaul Manual Handling Training. Some documents have a front and back or two pages, and all required sides must be approved before you can take work.

Completed job earnings are credited to your EcoHaul wallet. You then set up a Stripe Connect account to receive payouts to your bank. Payout timing depends on your Stripe account status, typically a few business days.

A Driver Helper assists a driver on larger jobs that need an extra pair of hands. Helpers do not need their own vehicle and do not need a waste carrier licence, but they must complete Manual Handling Training.

Helpers agree a helper fee with the driver before the job. The fee is processed through EcoHaul after the job is completed, and helpers receive it through their own Stripe Connect account.

Yes. Drivers can request a helper for any job that needs two people. The platform allocates the helper fee using a standard split, and drivers can save trusted helpers as crew favourites for future work.

EcoHaul partners with verified council and private recycling centres. The centre directory is visible to operational roles only and shows accepted materials, opening hours, fees and vehicle rules so drivers take each load to the right place.

Yes. We prioritise recycling and proper waste management. Route optimisation reduces emissions, and we partner with licensed recycling centres so materials are recovered rather than sent to landfill where possible.

Yes. Business accounts can arrange repeat collections for their sites, choose time windows that suit their operation, and download invoices and collection records for each completed job.

Yes. Every completed job generates a record you can download, showing the licensed carrier who handled your waste and where the material went. This supports your duty of care obligations.

After each job both sides can leave a rating and a written review. Ratings help everyone make informed choices and high rated drivers and helpers get more work. You can dispute a review you believe is unfair.

Drivers and helpers are trained to stop, make the area safe and report any suspected hazardous material they find unexpectedly. EcoHaul does not carry hazardous waste, so the customer will be advised to use a specialist.

You can reach support through the Help Center, the in app AI assistant or the support contact form. Registered users receive a response by email, and our team reviews disputes and enquiries during business hours.
